STEP appoints new Director of Markets to lead on growth across markets and sectors

STEP is pleased to announce that after an extensive search and selection process, Brian Walters will be joining the organisation’s UK-based head office on 17 August as Director of Markets.

Brian joins STEP’s executive team to lead on product sales and development, events, sponsorship, branch and region support, and relationships with employer firms. He will have a specific focus on all commercial activities in support of STEP's aims and his appointment completes work to better align our internal structure with our strategic priorities.

Brian has over 20 years’ experience working for some of the UK’s leading professional bodies (Chartered Institute of Marketing, British Medical Association, Royal Pharmaceutical Society and Royal Institute of British Architects) and more recently he has been working with commercial and technology businesses. He brings significant marketing and membership experience in building membership brands and driving commercial returns.
